A small but busy entertainment PR agency based in Brighton with film and entertainment clients. 

Job Description:

Want to work for one of the world's leading entertainment brands? We have an opportunity for a Retail / Customer Marketing Manager to join our team. We're a PR agency who handle the home entertainment retail activity for UK-division of a leading global entertainment company.

Responsible for managing Sony Pictures Home Entertainment release campaigns – specifically delivering marketing campaigns, customer activations, creative content and assets for DVD, Blu-ray and digital product releases, to some of the UK’s biggest retailers e.g. Amazon, iTunes, Sky, Virgin Media, Google Play and more

Key Responsibilities/areas of work: 

Account & Project Management
• Setting up and delivering pre-order for DVD/Blu-ray and digital releases, including sourcing/creating artwork and assets, video content and brand guidelines for major entertainment retailers
• Keeping retailers and key client contacts up-to-date with all creative artwork, issuing updates and final launch assets
• Responsible for daily operational contact and asset delivery across retailers, monitoring product compliance
• Developing marketing activations across retail throughout product lifecycles and growing franchises such as Spider-Man, Jumanji & Peter Rabbit.
• Writing briefs for creative agencies and video production agency
• Researching and developing brand partnerships, promotional opportunities and areas for growth.
• Managing campaign budgets and controlling internal costs.
• Monitoring campaign results, sales and coverage
• Compiling weekly reports of product coverage across all retailers
• Monitoring key competitors for product releases, activations and campaigns
• Presenting campaign strategy and ideas to client and retailer teams
• Managing of all content uploads to FTPs

Branding & Content
• Project managing content creation campaigns, including film and TV artwork, trailers, featurettes and branding across social platforms, websites and retailer channels.
• Leading Sony as a Vendor on Amazon - ‘A’ graded product set up including franchise stores, advertising, planning and delivering quarterly cycles of online merchandising.
• Managing creative briefing and delivery
• Creation of brand toolkits, legal guidelines and asset packs to ensure brand cohesion and legal compliance.
• Social strategy – developing toolkits, digital and promotional solutions for campaigns
• Overseeing creative approvals and ensuring quality control of all final creative output.
• Researching industry trends, campaigns and innovation, delivering insight & analysis through weekly reports.

Managing Relationships
• Working closely with client marketing contacts as an extension of their team
• Cultivating working relationships across multiple retailers
• Managing and nurturing relationships with creative agencies, designers and suppliers.
• Daily contact with client and attending weekly client office visits/updates - this will include at least one day spent working in London

Confident client facing - presenting / accountable 

Passion for film, TV and entertainment

Excellent attention to detail

Experience in copywriting

Experience in proofing creative and written materials

Some knowledge of Photoshop and Adobe creative suite an advantage

Knowledge of or passion for content creation and eye for detail

Experience in account management, project management or similar role

Highly organised – able to juggle multiple campaigns, agencies and retailer contacts simultaneously

Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Docs and cloud-based file-sharing sites/FTPs

Person Specification:

In order to apply for this role of you must demonstrate the following:

Experience of retail planning and asset management

Experience of budget management

Experience of running creative or marketing campaigns, preferably for online retailers

An understanding of shopper marketing and point of sale impact

Excellent knowledge how retailers work and operate

Would suit someone with experience of: Digital Project Management, Retail Marketing, Customer Marketing, Digital Campaign Managment.
