Sales Executive - Diversified Business Communications

We are currently recruiting a full time Sales Executive to sell on our overseas trade events in Malmo, Sweden.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious, focused sales professional, looking to develop their career in international sales, within a successful, growing company.
You will be an established sales person who is confident at selling on the phone and face to face with a consultative approach. Strong communication and organisation skills are a must, with excellent attention to detail, as well as superb account management ability.
Diversified Communications UK is part of a rapidly growing, highly successful trade exhibition and media group, with our head office in Portland, Maine, USA.
Here in the UK we now organise 15 highly successful trade shows, all of them leaders in their sectors as well as publishing several market leading trade magazines. We are also produce a range of digital products that support the industries we work in. Over 105 highly motivated and talented people work in our Brighton, Cotswolds, Peterborough and London offices, all focused on creating the best possible exhibiting and visiting experiences for our customers.

Job Description:

 

• Selling both on the telephone and face to face, with a consultative selling approach
• Account management to develop and maintain strong client relationships
• To identify and develop new business
• To attend relevant trade shows both in the UK and Europe
• To ensure that individual and team sales targets are met
• To provide excellent customer relations at all times
• To help and support with our related event, Natural & Organic Products Europe as well as other events where required.
• Collaborate with other departments such as operations, marketing, and finance, to ensure delivery of client needs.
• To write sales emails, reports, newsletters, copy for visitor and exhibitor campaigns.
• Stay up to date on relevant industry knowledge and research market.
• Responsible for social media on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn for NPS/NOFF
• Updating and maintaining all systems relevant to the event, including exhibitor database, sales figures and contracts and floorplan.
• Assist Nordic Manager with administration work and sales contracts.

 
Skills Range:

• 1-2 years of dedicated sales experience.
• Ideally, experience within the events and exhibition industry, not essential
• The ability to meet and exceed sales target
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Excellent attention to detail
• Hands-on, get it done attitude as well as being a good team player

Attendance: Full-Time
 
Additional Information:

• Salary negotiable depending on experience
• 25 days holiday entitlement per annum in additional to Bank Holidays
• Excellent benefits package, including healthcare and a matched pension contribution
• Start Date: ASAP.
