Job Description:

The ideal Tiger to join our team will have great technical SEO abilities with an analytical mind as well as a creative streak, be able to think outside the box in planning and implementing new SEO initiatives at an exceptionally high standard whilst juggling multiple projects.

You will be supported and driven to deliver high-quality work within an allocated time period, be an excellent communicator, have in-depth understanding of consumer behaviour and content consumption across digital platforms, plus remain up to date with digital trends and new marketing opportunities.

Acute attention to detail, effective planning, multi-tasking and being highly organised will be essential to flourish in this ROARsome role – it is not for the fainthearted!


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute and monitor first-class SEO campaigns either exclusively as on-going monthly retainer work for clients and /or as part of a more holistic marketing campaign that provides insights to help with data-driven decisions:
  • Extensive keyword research and produce written summaries explaining to clients how the SEO rich content will be used (i.e. in website / blogs)
  • Citation audits
  • Internal and external link building including backlinks
  • Website review/audits, recommend improvements and implementing them
  • Front end review of flow / content / navigation / usability etc.
  • Back end audit of hierarchy and information architecture / meta data / technical issues / crawl analysis / site speed improvements / schema markup / index bloat / website indexing etc.
  • Build SEO strategies
  • Compile and present SEO guidelines
  • Work alongside external website developers to implement recommendations
  • Build high quality advertising campaigns across search and social platforms
  • Produce advertising strategies
  • Optimisation and performance improvement of paid campaigns
  • Track metrics using a wide range of tools
  • Produce attractive and concise copy
  • Contribute to the development of creative cross-channel campaigns
  • Compile analysis reports (monthly, quarterly and yearly) assessing data, noting trends and intelligently evaluating the outcome.
  • Support and work alongside the rest of the Marketing Team in planning and executing digital strategies and marketing campaigns across various channels in brainstorm sessions.
  • Manage and work closely alongside the Marketing Executive:
  • In planning, executing and monitoring search and social campaigns.
  • Support the Marketing Executive with the social media content management and ensure a high standard of work is maintained.
  • Act as a sounding board for the Marketing Executive teaching best practices in digital marketing and SEO.
  • Communicating with team to provide recommendations and advice regarding the SEO strategies and ideas.

Skills Range:
  • Degree level education or minimum of 3 year’s experience in a similar role in-house or agency side
  • Proven history of working in SEO and paid campaigns and achieving successful results
  • Management experience preferred but not essential
  • Strong technical SEO knowledge as well as being knowledgeable in digital marketing
  • Extensive use of analysis and reporting including: SEMrush / Moz / Majestic / Screaming Frog / Buzzsumo – or similar software.
  • Excellent understanding of Google Algorithms – Panda, Penguin
  • Fully proficient in Google Analytics and Search Console
  • MailChimp or similar software
  • Experience of running paid campaigns across Google, Facebook, Bing and Instagram
  • Business Manager
  • Insights of Facebook / Twitter / Instagram
  • Facebook Certified professional would be beneficial
  • Google AdWords qualification would be beneficial

Salary: £25k – £30k (depending on experience)
