Who are MakerClub?
MakerClub is a network of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) focused after-school clubs based in the UK designed to teach invention, and all the skills that come with it. Our platform allows us to partner with schools, Universities and makerspaces to teach these emerging technologies. Our clubs are full of 3D printers, laptops, laser cutters, and all the tools, electronics, and craft equipment needed to invent.
A bit more info
We have a distinctive approach that centres around our team of club leaders on the ground, a well-defined maker curriculum that connects with Crafts Council, DfE and DCMS skills agendas, and reliable tech provision that allows young people to come to the club and get on straight away with learning, creating and having fun. We also have an online platform complete with standalone 'makes' and projects that children can engage with when they're at home, to carry on their learning.
Our Mission
Our mission is to turn the next generation into inventors. To build a world-wide squad of creative thinkers, designers, problem solvers and entrepreneurs, ready to take on the world and remake it for the better.
