Job Description:

Social media support to maximise reach and engagement for a global health and tech client

2 days a week - which can be spread out - potential for more. Developing a social media plan and delivery. Can include working remotely.

A social media expert who can work on one of our key client projects. This is a health tech client working in the thought leadership and high-level event space. 

This role has support to help you deliver

We don't expect you to do it all - there will be good support available to work alongside you.

This is a B2B project.

The role will involve following and interacting with thought leaders in the health and tech space (through social media), preparing content (in partnership with the team who can provide advice and support), sharing thought leadership content, promoting speakers and key National tech events, in addition to leveraging a high profile advisory board who are engaged on social media and keen to support.

The ambition is to significantly increase the reach and followers for this client.

Audiences are: National/international health and teach leaders, CCIOs and CIOs, the private health sector - from the pharma sector to global tech leaders and tech start ups/innovators.

We want to reach the broader health sector and those involved and interested in tech. From global leaders to patients.

The client is keen to be creative, so we will be open to all your ideas and recommendations.

Start time asap.

Period of initial contract to end May with some periods of intensity: March and May. 

It is likely that the contract could be extended and include a broader international role.

For the right person - there could be an opportunity for a permanent role in the medium to longer term.

The client

The client is a thought leader in the health tech space, so the strategy and approach is about positioning them differently from others out there who are jumping on the health tech / events bandwagon. They have the heritage, global reach and high-quality content to draw on.

Fundamentals we are keen to cover

Here are the specifics of what we are looking for set out below.

We also need input to develop the strategy and approach.

For example:

Over and above what we have set out below, we would like to look at opportunities to interact and build a dialogue with key audiences through social media – webchats etc. We are open to all ideas and recommendations.

To support the activity we have:

• An advisory Board

• The Social Kinetic Team and high-quality content

• HIgh profile sponsors and speakers – some of them will be keen to support activity and share content

• Announcements of key speakers


Priorities are:

The strategy - having a clear plan in place for the next three months, including identifying  how the wider team can work with you to deliver.

Delivery including:

•Identifying the top 100 people to interact with (LinkedIn and Twitter) with the aim of having those who are influential on social media sharing client content and increasing reach

•Regular social media activity for the duration of the contract, including announcements, sharing of content. live updates from events, interaction, post-event news etc, sharing of high-quality content

•Managing the day-to-day running and monitoring of the social media account

•Providing a weekly report and update To monitor the key influencers and interact, spot/capitalise on opportunities. To contribute to a weekly call with the SK team, sharing ideas, learning and feedback and forward planning

Skills Range:


Experience of developing and delivering successful campaigns of Twitter and LinkedIn.

Experience in developing social media strategies and delivery.

Track record of success in promoting thought leadership content and building reach and followers for high-level influential clients

Experience in developing interactive engagement through social media to promote dialogue

Experience in developing social media reports which demonstrate impact, reach and influence

Experience of the health and tech sector would be a significant advantage - but not essential


Person Specification:

An enthusiastic and experienced individual who enjoys being part of a team.

You should have at least 3 years experience and be comfortable thinking strategically, plan working and workign in partnerhip with someone who can help you deliver.

Someone who is constantly keen to see how we can build on and improve what we do to achieve the best results.

Attention to detail. Someone who enjoys making an impact.

We want the fundamentals done but are keen to have enthusiasts with ideas they want to bring to the table

Salary: £150-£300 per day plus expenses dependant on experience
