Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Will be involved in the whole software development life cycle in a highly technical and collaborative agile development team using the technologies including AngularJS, Angular 6+, CSS, HTML, C#, .NET 4.5.
  • Design, development and implementation of web applications using the Angular and Microsoft technology stack.
  • Participate in the preparation of detailed systems specifications to meet defined requirements.
  • Work closely with application developers, business analysts, business stakeholders and QA teams.
  • Liaise with other teams in the US for code reviews and build support as and when necessary.
  • Be prepared to learn new technologies.
  • Support existing applications where required

If you have a strong SPA and backend development background, we will be happy to provide training in new technologies, such as Angular 6+

Skills Range:

Must have several years of experience in Software Development or a similar role

  • T-SQL - Beneficial

  • Web Services, Web API, REST, SOAP or JSON - Highly beneficial
Person Specification:

BSc Hons or higher in relevant engineering, mathematical or analytical subject(s)


Communication and relationship skills:

  • Able to draw out of staff their current issues
  • Able to influence staff positively to engage with automation
  • Able to interact positively with NHS IT departmental staff to smooth the installs
  • Able to interpret intelligently what they are told by NHS and Omnicell staff
  • Able to communicate concisely with other staff, managers & directors
  • Works cheerfully and positively with us, Omnicell staff and the hospitals

Analytical and judgement skills:

  • Able to manage product development programmes and keep them on track
  • Understand the big picture and make intelligent decisions but take advice where appropriate
  • Arrive quickly at logical conclusions and inject useful analysis into the development, implementation, and support process
  • Ability to analyse and design solutions within the toolset available
  • Understanding of hospital pharmacy and supplies safety and stock control issues
