Support Engineer - The Network Factory

The Network Factory are a leading UK DevOps company. We design, build and, maintain our high-tech clients' application infrastructure. Providing clients with access to technology allows them to automate their full infrastructure stack from code. This helps them quickly and easily mitigate security, reliability, scalability and availability issues.

Job Description:

The Network Factory are looking for a Support Engineer to work from their Eastbourne office.

As a Support Engineer your time will be split between client support and software development. You’ll be able to inspire confidence for our clients and able to take the query through to resolution, calling upon our team as required.

As well as having an automation-first approach you'll be professional with excellent communication skills.

The successful candidate will be joining our friendly Eastbourne team. We have regular paid-for team meals, a smart casual dress code with work wear provided, great coffee and a happy office.

Skills Range:

Solid operating knowledge of Windows, macOS or Linux

Source control - Git

Shell scripting - Bash, Powershell

One programming language from Go, Python or Ruby

Automation tools - Ansible

Understanding of networking, firewalls and security, databases and cloud platforms - AWS, Azure, VMware.

Person Specification:

We're not expecting you to know everything but there will be at least 2 things above that you excel at, and you'll be able to show us that you have a passion for learning and increasing your skill base.

Salary: £21,000 - £36,000
Attendance: Full-Time
