Great news from Bozboz who have been appointed by Cats Protection to deliver a marketing campaign for the charity’s National Black Cat Day initiative!
Congrats to apprenticeship provider Creative Process Digital; they won ‘Best Digital Media Consultancy’!
Really exciting news from MyPocketSkill who won the Innovate UK Design Foundations competition, allowing them to improve their platform. Plus, they’ve teamed up with MOREVER who will help them strengthen their customer experience and brand identity.
High five to RMV Production’s founder Peter Reeve who was recognised as ‘Creative Director of the Year’ at the 2017 TMT Media Awards! The studio also received the award for ‘Best Full-Service Video Production Company’.

2017 is a big year for us - it marks 10 years of an independent Wired Sussex. And what better way to celebrate than to throw a party! 

So our next members meetup will be an extra, extra special one. Join us on 6th October for a night of entertainment and together we can raise a glass or two to the last decade (and a glass or two more to the next).

Light your fuse: become a resident at the FuseBox!
Are you a digital entrepreneur, tech visionary or creative technologist looking for support to turn your ideas into successful innovations?

We’re looking for individuals or small teams working on ideas, concepts and products that align with immersive, connected, intelligent and data driven technologies to join the FuseBox’s new residency programme.

The FuseBox is our innovation hub in the heart of Brighton and residents will have access to our 5G testbed, immersive hub activities and our network of corporate and academic collaborators, as well as a chance to work alongside other residents and share opportunities for growth and development.

Open Studios: Talent Week 2017
Monday 2nd - Friday 6th October

Ever wondered what goes on behind-the-scenes at Brighton’s most creative and innovative companies? 

Open Studios: Talent Week offers you the chance to take a look at some of the best digital, media & technology businesses in the city; they’ll be opening their doors to show you what they do, where they do it and how. Participating companies will be hosting a range of events; from talks and workshops, to drop-in advice sessions.

Something for everyone, and they're all free to attend. If you are interested in learning more about other business in the sector in Brighton, or are interested in becoming a part of it, then this is for you.

VR Brighton #6: Virtual Futures
Wednesday 4th October, 6-9pm at The FuseBox

Interested in virtual and augmented realities? Check out the next VR Brighton meetup. Amongst the speakers at October’s event will be FuseBox writer-in-residence, sci-fi author Al Robertson. He will be talking about how he created imaginary VR/AR technologies for his two published novels and what he learned from the experience.

There will also be networking opportunities with VR and AR innovators, as well as the chance to have a hands-on play with demos, so grab a ticket here!

Beyond the Blockchain: digital currency meetup
Thursday 21st September, 6-9pm at The FuseBox
The Digital Catapult Centre Brighton are hosting a meetup for anyone wanting to understand Blockchain technologies and its potential uses. Blockchain technology uses ‘smart-contracts’ that allow trading of content, value and property automatically and securely – which could change how we share, vote, buy, bank and own.

The meetup will provide an introduction to the technology, as well as foster collaboration and creative thinking about its application. They will also be launching and giving attendees a new Brighton based blockchain currency!
