Tales of a Creative City

At Tales of the Creative City, the Brighton Fuse research team will be sharing their thoughts and stories as well as the project’s early interpretations, answering questions and inviting feedback.

Brighton Fuse is a 2-year R & D project looking at how Brighton’s creative, digital and technology cluster functions. So if you’re interested in the project, want to hear interim findings about what people have said it’s like to work in Brighton, as well as hear from the key researchers and others involved with the project about what Brighton Fuse means for businesses, then register now for one of the limited spaces.

Brighton Digital Marketing Festival

Pure360 launched the Brighton Digital Marketing Festival (BDMF) in September 2011, in order to give marketers access to the huge digital talent we have in the South East. The BDMF ‘12 features as a key marketing event at the Brighton Digital Festival.
Attendees can enjoy two days of free education starting with keynotes at the Brighton Dome, followed by workshops throughout Brighton and finishing with networking at the seafront located Fortune of War. 

Async's "One Canvas" Hack Night - part two

Following the success of last year's "JavaScript Jungle", Async's are back with another pair of Hack-Nights called "One Canvas" .

There will be an infinitely scrollable & zoomable web page, where anyone can contribute digital art. Think generative computer graphics, tiny games, data-powered visualisations or anything interactive. This is a fun, relaxed, no-experience-necessary event to learn and play with new technologies in the web browser, hook up with other local artists, designers and developers, and get together to make something beautiful and unique.

BAD Ass Drupal Weekender
The Skiff, Fri 14th - Sun 16th. 09:00 - 16:00
With over half a million contributing developers in 200+ countries, Drupal powers more than 2% of the web including sites as diverse as The White House, Amnesty International and MTVuk.
From single-page blogs to some of the world’s biggest sites, Drupal does it all with its scalable, open-source software. The Drupal weekender offers free & low-cost training on Friday, sessions on Saturday, and barcamp-style Sunday covering everything from basic installation to custom module development.
