2016 is drawing to a close, and what an eventful year it’s been. We would like to thank all our Wired Sussex members, without your continued support we would not be able to help you make the region such a fantastic place to do business.

Have a good holiday and we’ll see you in the new year.

We're excited to announce Talent2017
Talent2017 is a new initiative from Wired Sussex that will help digital businesses attract, retain and train the talent they need to thrive.

Digital businesses know that their success is down to hiring, developing and keeping talented individuals. Finding the right people with the right skills and helping them to grow with your business is usually the biggest challenge that you face.

That’s why we’ve launched Talent2017 – a new three-day festival that’s set to be the largest digital jobs and skills festival in the South East with 3 consecutive days of events happening across Brighton.
You can read more about the upcoming festival and why it’s needed in the recent Argus coverage and do get in touch if you’re interested in getting involved or sponsoring the festival.

Music City / Digital City
26th January, 6pm – 9pm, at the FuseBox
Brighton has the highest concentration of digital companies in the UK and a strong music industry.
We believe it’s time to bring together these two ecosystems: we can learn from each other, discuss shared ambitions and explore what business opportunities there are for collaboration.
Through our Digital Catapult Centre Brighton programme, and in partnership with the Brighton Institute of Modern Music (BIMM) and The Brighton Music Office, we are delighted to be hosting an event that brings together two creative industries for some serious fun and, we hope, some long lasting collaborations and commercial opportunities.
So, if you work for a digital agency, an innovative start-up, run a tech meet-up, or freelance for clients in the music industry (or want to!) this is an event for you. Sign up for your free ticket today!

'Tis the season to recruit
The holiday season is now in full swing and many organisations think this means it’s time to put the brakes on their recruitment plans, even if it’s to the detriment of the business. We believe there’s actually some very positive reasons for advertising and recruiting over the Christmas period, and have successfully done so in the past.

Here’s a few reasons and a special offer to share with you.

Upcoming Breakfast Sessions
Inspiration, knowledge and guidance to kick start your day.

These events share best practice on subjects ranging from marketing and branding to intellectual property and investment opportunities. And there’s coffee and croissants too. What’s not to like? The next two in the series are:
