Tangles and Toads with Connected TV
Connected TV Brighton, Wednesday 6th Feb, Lighthouse

At the next ConnectedTV Brighton event, we’ll be Untangling the Wires with Nigel Walley, Managing Director of the media strategy consultancy, Decipher.

At the forefront of the growing TV revolution, Nigel heads up their work in television advertising, with a particular focus on the evolution of commercial advertising models and how media markets are affected by new consumer technology.  He will be discussing the challenges and opportunities created by this new environment.

We’ll also be hearing from Relentless Software who will be talking about their new project, Blue Toad Murder Files; a co-operative video game that will soon be available for download on Smart TV, PS3 and PC.

So if you are interested in how TV may change and how your company might take advantage of it, then this event should give you food for thought. The event is exclusive to members of Wired Sussex and that includes employees of Wired Sussex member companies. It's free to attend but please register here to guarantee your place.  To find out if your company is a member of Wired Sussex just check our directory.

Wired for Sound returns!
Wired for Sound, Saturday 23rd Feb, Sticky Mike’s Frog Bar
Newsflash - We’ve just confirmed that we’ll be holding our 2nd Wired Sussex members DJ competition and fundraiser based on the huge success of last year’s charity event (go on, revisit those video highlights!).  This year promises to be another great Wired Sussex social where members can give DJing a go, ‘Stick it On’ and battle it out for the prestigious title of ‘Best DJ’ and maybe even steal Propellernet’s reigning crown?

It’ll be held on Saturday 23rd February at Sticky Mike’s Frog Bar (details/tickets to be confirmed) and this time we’re inviting you to vote on which 3 local charities you would like the money to go towards.  Please take a second to complete our charity poll and watch this space for more information on how to get involved, where to buy tickets or even how to sign up as your company’s nominated DJ…

Contact caroline@wiredsussex.com in the meantime if your company would like to sponsor the event, or for further details or information regarding the proposed charities.
