Developing new digital products or services?
Then the Digital Catapult Centre Brighton is for you.

In short, the Centre will be an R+D lab where SMEs, start-ups, large corporates, universities and others can collaborate on innovative digital projects around the themes ‘Internet of Place’ and location based data. Over the past month we’ve been running a series of taster events to help you better understand what the Centre is and how it might benefit your business.

Missed the launch event last month? Don’t worry, you can catch-up on all talks with the lead project partners, where they introduced key concepts around the project, plus the Q&A’s afterwards, here.

The next in the series of taster events include:

8th July, 6:00 – 8:30pm. The FuseBox
5G is the next step in wireless connectivity and it could be a game changer – super fast, and super stable. So, if you create apps or other content for mobile, or are interested in new wireless technologies, then you should come along to this event and hear about what you can expect from 5G connectivity and its potential for innovation. Places for this event are free but limited – Please sign up for a ticket here.

Making the most of Membership
We’ve been running a lot more events this year (up from 20 to about 60!) and as a consequence, we’ve seen a few new members join specifically to attend certain events.

This is great, but there’s much more to membership than just the events. So here’s a quick overview on some of the other ways that we can help you grow your business.

Join us for fun, sun & networking!
Members' Meetup, 14th July, from 5.30pm. Brighton Music Hall
Whether you're a freelancer, director or an employee of a larger agency, we’d love you to join us for our summer Members’ Meetup.

If you've not been before the event offers a great opportunity to network with others working in the sector locally. So why not come along and share your latest news, learn about potential joint working opportunities or just to have a chat with other like-minded folk. It's all pretty informal!

Also, we'll be trying out a new venue and will (hopefully!) be enjoying the seaside sun at the Brighton Music Hall, right on the seafront.

The event is free to our members, including all employees of member companies, but you will need to register here to guarantee your place.

*Not sure if your company is a member? Just search our online directory or get in touch.
