Thursday 27th July, 5:30-9pm at Platf9rm

Did you know our innovation hub The Fusebox will be home to the UK’s first non-university 5G testbed? The testbed will give members an opportunity to test apps, games and other products on the incredibly fast, always-on wireless, mobile technology before its UK roll-out in 2020.

At this event we will be exploring what 5G technology is, why it’s a revolutionary step forward compared to previous mobile telecommunication technologies (2G, 3G and 4G), and what the opportunities are for innovators and businesses working in Virtual/ Augmented Reality, Internet of Things and telecommunications.

So come along to our intro to 5G event, hear our plans for the pioneering 5G testbed and how you can be involved!
