Creating a home for digital media in Brighton

Brighton Festival image Wired Sussex has been working hard to help improve the workspace options available to digital media companies in Brighton. We are keen to develop a physical centre-of-gravity for the sector in the city and, to this end, have been working with the Council to look at ways we could transform New England House. As part of that process, we have jointly commissioned DCA Consulting to work on a report to investigate the options.

Wired Sussex has asked DCA to look at the different ways that built space - and specifically New England House - can successfully support collaboration, innovation and usability.

To support this, DCA are organising a workshop for our members at 4pm on Tuesday June 22nd. The workshop is to encourage the sharing of ideas and to work toward practical outcomes for the study and it comprises a structured 'walk and talk' around NEH facilitated by contemporary architects followed by a brainstorming session.

If you are interested in how the built environment can be re-thought to support digital innovation, you may want to be part of this workshop. If so, please email Phil. Spaces are limited.

If you are a media company in or near any of these 3 towns, we need your support!

At each event, we will be looking for people from local media companies who can help inspire and inform media hopefuls and offer their insights into how to get a first break in this industry sector.

This is a fantastic opportunity for you and your company to build your profile locally and to meet new and enthusiastic student talent.
