The Digital Roundup
Big news from Crunch, after a booming year they’ve unveiled a new arm to the business: the ‘Start’ accountancy package for the UK’s sole trader market.
Exciting times for Then Somehow, this month they launched a new website featuring a case study of work with members Propellernet and they've just returned from Boston, where they have been busy working with Litmus Software.
Well done to Caburn Hope who picked up two GEO Awards for ‘Best Plan Communication’ and ‘Best Use of a Share Plan in an Emerging Market’ for their work with Unilever.
We saw some cool artwork at the Bozboz HQ; international graffiti artist Mau Mau gave their office a fresh lick of paint this month.
Good news from We Are All Connected; they just announced a working partnership with Channel Mum, to develop their SEO strategy.
Exciting news from Brighton Digital Festival; they have appointed Laurence Hill as the new festival manager and just announced a £15k public/ digital arts commission in conjunction with Brighton & Hove City Council. Details of this commission can be found on our Projects Board.

Plans are well underway for Brighton Digital Festival 2016; returning this September for a month-long celebration of all things digital culture. 

Europe's largest digital culture festival is the ideal platform for businesses to launch new products, exhibit the amazing work that takes place across the region and gain exposure with new audiences.

Disruption and stability - the rise of Bimodal IT

Many companies struggle to balance demands on their IT delivery. On the one hand there’s a need to provide a reliable and stable service, and on the other companies need to be agile and able to innovate. Bimodal IT is a two-pronged approach which aims to help companies do both.

Tech Beyond The Screen is an ongoing series of events, exploring the opportunities and challenges as digital technology moves beyond screen-based devices and becomes fully embedded in the real world.

A significant benefit of Wired Sussex membership is getting to hear about the latest fixed-term and project work opportunities within the sector, either by networking with other members or by accessing our exclusive projects board.
Anyone - from local boutiques to multinational agencies - can post project details on the board, so the projects are really diverse, with everything from product photography to e-Commerce platforms builds. What they all have in common is a need for digital and media experts. To access the details of each project you must be a Wired Sussex member.
