Brighton Fuse Report Findings
Last month we held a special event to unveil the findings of the Brighton Fuse Research Project; the culmination of a two year R&D exercise to analyse the growth and performance of the digital cluster in Brighton – it’s been one of the most comprehensive investigations into a cluster ever undertaken in the UK!

It was a fantastic evening with over 200 people in attendance, eager to hear the findings of the report and discuss its implications. If you missed the event check out this short video providing an overview of the project and its core findings or you can read the full report here.

We would like to thank everyone who gave up their time to help with the report. It’s a vital piece of research that will help raise the profile of our digital cluster and allow for better understanding of the challenges and opportunities we face. The findings will inform future strategies to make the cluster even more competitive by providing a blueprint for achieving high growth in other creative, digital businesses.

Not surprisingly one of the key issues highlighted in the Brighton Fuse report is the lack of decent office space in Brighton. One of the ways we’ve been working to address this is by helping our members advertise spare office or desk space to the community. So if you’re currently in the market for a new space or have studio or office space you are interested in sub letting- here’s where to look.

The FuseBox - let's get together and make great things happen!
Between now and the New Year we are experimenting with some new, exciting ways of using our open collaborative work space; AKA the FuseBox, to support members of the Creative, Digital and IT community here in Brighton and Sussex.

We’d love for you to come along and get involved in the project by trying out the space and letting us know what you think of the resources available.
Whether you’re looking for a self-service meeting room, hoping to host an event or fancy meeting others at one of our collaborative work days, get in touch.
You can find all the particulars about the project and how to get involved here.

*The FuseBox was inspired by findings from The Brighton Fuse Report. To find out more about the Brighton Fuse research into please visit –

A Big hi-five to the Skiff!
This month we celebrate 5 amazing years of the Skiff, the friendly co-working space we co-manage for independent workers in the heart of the Brighton’s North Laines. It’s a fantastic milestone and we are proud to have supported them along the way.
