Lots of great news from our members this month and the first shout out goes to Brandwatch who have acquired content marketing giants BuzzSumo and recently worked with Ditch the Label to analyse how people talk about mental health in media.
Heart-warming to see Propellernet take less digitally privileged children to Brighton Beach to experience Virtual Reality and British Airways i360 for the first time.
RamJam collaborated with digital agency VCCP to create an online driving game that rewards users for safe driving.
Onwards and upwards for Gamification+; they’re hosting their first conference later this month, called Gamification Europe, including talks from some of the world's leading gamification experts!
Congratulations to Pragmatic for winning ‘Fastest Growth’ at the Wirehive 100 awards, and to Founder and Director David Lockie who received ‘Digital Champion of the Year’.
Superb to see MyPocketSkill continuing to evolve; they’ve been running a series of focus groups to help make their platform more user-centred.
High five to Shake It Up Creative Co-Founder Rachael Dines, who has been selected to deliver digital know-how to businesses across Sussex as part of Enterprise Nation’s Go and Grow campaign.
Great news from Neujuice Design; one of their largest digital projects for MAST, a full-service risk management and security company, went live recently!

Wired Sussex Members’ Christmas Meetup

It’s almost that time of year already, can you believe it? Registration for the Wired Sussex Members’ Christmas Meetup is now live! As the last members’ meetup of 2017, we would love to see you all for some festive fun, seasonal tunes, mulled cider/wine and mince pies.

At this Digital Catapult Centre Innovation Day, we will explore the current and future frontiers of immersive technology (virtual, augmented and mixed reality) and its application within retail.

We will have presentations from experts exploring the retail landscape, how immersive technology is currently being leveraged to deliver commercial value, brand engagement and prized shopper experiences, as well as potential future opportunities.

We will also share news around a live retail innovation challenge – in which we are looking to develop future immersive products and services to be delivered into a Brighton based retail scheme with our innovation partners Redevco.
