Following on from more traditional versions running on tablets and the main EDF Energy HPC website, the mobile Virtual Reality version allows users to select information points to learn about the construction progress of the site, selecting orb spheres to take them into filmed 360° video footage, before advancing through time to see what the finished construction will feel like.

As part of the release, the tablet and website-based virtual tours have also been updated to include the 360° videos and hand-painted renders available in a magic window to non-VR viewers.
