Natives, the Brighton based student specialist marketing group, and a member of Wired Sussex since 2015, recently did a flash survey of over 250 prospective students ahead of 2019’s A-level Results day. The attitude and perceptions of this group were explored and the highlights of the survey included:

1. 60% of students would rather apply to university with their final grades
2. Almost a quarter of students don’t know what Clearing is
3. Two-thirds of students view Clearing negatively, as something only for those who get lower grades than expected
4. 80% of students answered no or unsure when asked if all institutions offer Clearing.
